Wild Asparagus
David Cantieni, Ann Percival, Becky Tracy, Mark Hellenberg, Mark Murphy and George Marshall
Since 1984 Wild Asparagus has been touring and entertaining nationwide as well as in England and Canada. Originating in the Connecticut River Valley of Western Massachusetts and Southern Vermont, Wild Asparagus became one of the premier performers of New England’s traditional contra dance music. It draws heavily on the rich Irish repertoire interspersed with music from Canada, Brittany, south Africa and the Caribbean. Add to this, original tunes and songs, deep bass rhythms, the beat of the bodhran drum, sax, piano and guitar riffs, and you’ve got a truly rockin’ band.

The Faux Paws
Noah Van Norstrand, Chris Miller and Owen Morrison
Andrew and Noah VanNorstrand first started making music with Chris Miller in 2010 and they honed their blend traveling all over North America in the popular dance band Great Bear. Ostensibly based in Brattleboro, VT - their music is a mix of fiddle tunes, bluegrass and country songs, explosive jams and tight "brother" harmonies. Noah's genre-defying fiddle and mandolin playing (along with his unique take on foot percussion) has a skillful counterpoint in Chris's saxophone and banjo, and is supported by Andrew's driving rhythm guitar.
